Chitral: According to the announced result of the Election of the District Bar Association Chitral Advocate Gulam Hazarat who belongs to a remote valley of Bomburate, elected as President and Advocate Sajid who is also Legal Coordinator of LAPH and chairman of Young Lawyers Forum chitral (Organized by Legal Awareness Program for Human Rights) elected as Vice President. While taking to this scribe here in Chitral Mr. Niaz Ali Shah Congratulate all the new office bearers of DBA Chitral on behalf of Legal Awareness Program for Human Right (LAPH) Chitral and says that Lawyers are an important part of the civil society and can play a very effective role in the provision of easy access to justices to the marginalized segment of the society. He also said that Legal Awareness Program for Human Rights (LAPH) Chitral will give all possible support to District Bar Association Chitral. It is worth to mention here that Legal Awareness Program for Human Rights (LAPH) is a Trocaire Funded Project working in Chitral for the Empowerment of Women and Provision of free legal Aid to the marginalized women of Chitral.
