The calamity-stricken people of Hunza protested on the second day

Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan: The affectees of ataabad lake of Hunza protested for the second day.

The protestors raised slogans against the government for not announcing any comprehensive package for the affectees of Ataabad lake.

Women, children protested near Ganesh and blocked the road for an hour.

As a matter of fact, high hopes were pinned with the recent visit of Pakistani Premier, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, who visited the area on Friday.

He vowed the compensation would be announced as soon as the assesment report is submitted.
