A renowned religious scholar was killed in South Pakistan



Sind, Pakistan: The chief of outlawed Sapah-e-Suhaba Pakistan, Allama Ali Sher Hideri, was killed by some unknown miscreants, late Sunday night.


 


Allama Ali Sher Haidery was returning to his hometown, Khairpur, when he was ambushed by some unknown assailants, who opened fire at his vehicle, killing him and one of his assistants.


 


On Monday morning when the new of Allama Sher Hidery’s killing broke out, the enraged crowds of his followers came out in various cities of the country, including Karachi, Khairpur, Sukkur and others, chanted slogans against the government.


 


The security has been tightened up across the country, in the wake of possible reaction of the killing of the cleric.


 


In Karachi, the protestors set ablaze two vehicles including a bus in protest of the killing of the renowned religious cleric, Allama Ali Sher Haidery
