Car bomb creates terror in peoples mind in Nepal
Kathmandu Nepal June 9, 2010: The first car bomb was reported here in Kathmandu in Vasundhara area around 7 AM in the morning. 3 bombs were discovered onsite where 2 bombs exploded and one was detonated by the Army Bomb Squad. No causalities were made but during the explosion a car belonging to the Maoist party member was completely savaged and four civilians were injured where the injured were rushed to the local hospital. The swantantra Nepal Dal, a new underground local political group based in Sindhuli district of Nepal claimed the responsibility of the terror attack and have issued a message reasoning the attack to be an eye opener for all the big political parties and leaders for their in competences of failing to draft the new constitution. They have also warned for further bigger attacks if the situation doesn't change. According to one of the eyes witness, “As soon as the bomb was discovered the police were notified and, they took control over the situation, during the detonation process a vehicle was completely shattered and the shock wave of the detonation damaged the near houses.” With high risk of terror and damage the use of car bomb certainly gives the volatility of the situation. Moving on with unstable government and political manipulation Nepal lies in unrest and chaos with wait and watch mood where people feel unsecure and vulnerable with the happenings.
