Darra tribes are ready to expel militants

Kohat: The elders of all the six tribes of the semi-tribal town of Darra Adam Khel assured the political administration that they would expel militants from their area and help the government establish its writ.

Kohat regional Coordination officer (RCO) had called a special meeting of the elders of all tribes of Darra Adam Khel, to discuss ways and means for raising lashkar (volunteer force).

The elders discussed as to how raise lashkar and stop militants’ activities in the Kohat; they assured the government that they fully cooperate with political administration in expelling the militants from the area.
