A man came out of the podium as Dogan read his report . The man held a gun in his hands. The gun was probably detected because they had heard a shot. Footage from the cameras that were filming the event showed how Dogan himself killed at the hands of gun attacker. Instantly delegates from DPS and security have risen and fallen man to the ground and started beating it. Cameras were filmed shouting at the delegates: "Kill him." Man was taken by officials and handed over to NGOs Fourth Regional offices of the Sofia Directorate of the Interior.
