Healing Our World Author Running For US President

Dr. Mary Ruwart, a former biochemist with Upjohn, is seeking the Libertarian Party's nomination for President of the United States. She is the author of Healing Our World www.ruwart.com a book offering libertarian solutions to problems, and other works.  In 1992, she was the Libertarian Party's candidate for Vice-President.   I think she has an excellent chance of getting the Libertarian nomination in Denver, Colorado this May.

Why did she take so long to enter the race?  Until recently, she was working on behalf of Ron Paul's presidential campaign.

More information about her campaign is available at www.votemary2008.com.   Other declared candidates include George Phillies, Steve Kubby and Wayne Root. -30-

(About the author: Richard Cooper is the export/import manager of a Long Island, NY manufacturer.  He was a Ron Paul delegate in the Feb. 5th NY Republican primary.  Previously, he served as chair of the Libertarian Party of New York www.ny.lp.org)

I also think Ms. Ruwart has an excellent chance of getting the nomination, and I hopeful that she does.

Actually, Ms. Ruwart was a contender for the 1992 vice presidential nomination. Nancy Lord actually won the nomination on the third (or fourth) ballot, wrestling it away from Ruwart.
