Iran has been critical of Israel since late last year when it launched air and ground attacks on Gaza in retaliation for the continued attack by the Palestinian militants.

Hamas and Israel jointly declared a cease fire last January 21 upon intercession of some friendly neighbors and international peace advocates but Hamas has fired rockets sporadically into Israel territories causing Israel to respond with air attacks.
The ceasefire continuous to hold but Israel warned Hamas of ‘painful, sharp, strong and uncompromising response’ if the rocket attacks do not stop.
CNN reports; Tony Blair, the former British Prime Minister who is now an international; envoy for the Middle East, visited Gaza Sunday, his office announced.
‘I wanted to come to hear for myself, first hand, from people in Gaza whose life has been so badly impacted by recent conflict, he said.
