J&K Minister appeals for restoration of peace in Kashmir



           Srinagar, August 23 (Scoop News) --  J&K  Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj,  Ali Mohammed Sagar in a statement has urged the general public to fully cooperate with the administration in restoration of peace in the Kashmir Valley. He said that the general public of the Kashmir Valley has already suffered a lot due to continuous hartals.


             Sagar said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister,  Omar Abdullah is making all out efforts and initiating all measures to resolve Kashmir  issue for lasting peace in the State. He further said that Chief Secretary of our state is visiting all areas to ensure punctuality in all the Government institutions.


            The Minister further said that over 70 percent schools are functioning in rural areas but the schools in the city are closed and as a result of which the education of school going children are suffering to a greater extent.  Sagar appealed the parents to send their children to schools so that they can complete their pending syllabus and compete with the students of our areas and districts.


             Sagar also requested all other leaders of various political parties to cooperate with the government in restoration of peace in the Valley. India and Pakistan are also coming closer for holding of discussion to make both countries as best neighbours and to resolve all other issues pertaining to this region, he further added.
