JK Coalition govt. is manipulating the verdict of the speaker

Jammu,March 30 (Scoop News) - Hundreds of BJP activists led by State President Shamsher Singh Manhas took out a protest march to highlight the discrimination against 4 MLAs of their party in the allotment of time to speak during the assembly session. The march started from party headquarters and after passing through main bazars of the city, cultimated at City Chowk, where a strong protest was held.

Shamsher Singh Manhas, while addressing protesting activists at City Chowk, said that the present NC-Congress coalition government in the state is manipulating the verdict of the speaker to serve its interests. He said as per the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir Schedule (C), the speaker is bound by the advise of the leader of legislative party in matters pertaining to disqualification of his party’s MLAs.

Manhas said that Omar-led government has constantly tried to harass the BJP activists first by engineering cross voting in Legislative Council elections and now by influencing the speaker in favour of 7 disqualified MLAs of the party. He warned the Omar Abdullah led coalition government that if justice and fair deal is not given to 4 BJP MLAs, the party will further intensify its campaign and expose the misdeeds of the NC-Congress coalition government in the state.

BJP leaders including Dr. Jitendra Singh, Chander Prakash Ganga, Bali Bhagat, Sat Sharma (C.A.), Usha Choudhary, Kavinder Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Purnima Sharma, Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Bansi Lal Bharti, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Sakina Bano, Munish Sharma, Suraj Padha, Sanjay Baru, Sanjeev Gupta, Rajinder Sharma, Vikram Randhawa, Priya Sethi, Rajni Sethi, Sheela Handoo, Karan Singh, Vijay Choudhary, Surinder Choudhary, Rakesh Mishra, Ramesh Sharma, Praduman Singh, Satpal Choudhary, Sunil Dogra, Pushpa Wazir, Priya Jral, Vijay Raina, Ravinder Gupta, Omi Khajuria, Chander Mohan Gupta, Kulbushan Mohtra, Vijay Sharma, Balwan Singh, N.D. Rajwal, Gulshan Mahajan, Sureshta Jamwal, Hardesh Kumar, Kuldeep Kandhari, Vidya Gupta, Renuka Sharma, Saroj Gupta, Swaran Gupta and Kanta Gupta took part in this protest march.
