Georgian Pop Star Launches Reality Prison Show to Protest President
Reflecting the tense political situation in Georgia (Caucasus), popular singer Gia Gachechiladze has launched a strange new TV show.
He has begun to live in improvised jail, and called it “Jail N 5 “ (a reference to the electronic number of ruling party of Georgia called “National Movement” ). He’s still in prison and demands President Mikheil Saakishvili resign. TV show “Jail N 5” is televised every afternoon and politicians, actors, singers and experts express their protest.
Gia Gachechiladze stopped his free life two month ago. He says he is not tired and continues his protest, even though his health condition has deteriorated.
