Lone woman Minister of J&K,Sakina assured that all possible initiatives being taken for peace & dev

 Srinagar, August 26 (Vijay Kumar) - The Lone woman Minister for Social Welfare, Mrs. Sakina Itoo while reiterating the Government’s resolve  to bring complete peace and normalcy in the Jammu and Kashmir state, said that people of the State faced  lot of miseries during the turmoil. People of the state have entrusted full faith in the present Government and are hopeful that coalition Government would succeed in fulfilling their aspirations, she said and assured that being the true representatives of the people all possible initiatives are being taken  for peace and all round development of the state.

Addressing a massive public gathering at Malwan, Kulgam in South Kashmir on Wedensday Ms. Sakina embarked upon the vested interested political leaders not to mislead the innocent people by their hollow sloganeering and asked them to join in development process initiated by the government for fast track development of the state.

The Minister announced Rs. 3.00 lakhs out of her Constituency Development fund for upgradation of power supply in the Malwan area.  She announced construction of 3 rooms and two toilet blocks one each for boys and girls High School Malwan.  She also announced construction of School building at Shuhoo, Gund and has assured that the Malwan and  Vamin Lamid would be brought on Tourism map very soon.

Referring to the initiatives taken up by the government, the Minister apprised that various reformative initiatives are under way for all round development of the state. 

Ms. Sakina said that functioning of all the departments has been activated so that people do not face any difficulty in solving their problems.

          The Minister assured the people of her constituency that their genuine demands would be redressed in a phased manner.  She said the problems of food grains, drinking water, power, repairs of roads and execution of school buildings would be taken up at the earliest with close co-ordination of concerned department.
