Prashant’s stand on Kashmir issue courageous: Jama’at-e-Islami

Srinagar, October 14 (Scoop News) -   Jama’at-e-Islami J&K tody said that  the statement of the famous lawyer and social activist, Prashant Bhushan even after being physically attacked, that he still holds his stand about the Kashmir issue which he had expressed recently in Varanasi, is most daring, highly appreciable and worth following.

Advocate Zahid Ali, Spokesperson, Jama’at-e-Islami J&K said that on the other hand, the open hooliganism by the violent elements of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena to suppress the just voice is not only anti-democratic and illegal but a blatant violation of the Indian Constitution too and is thus all condemnable.

He said that the golden statement of Mr. Bhushan that “By suppressing the voices, the reality of the Kashmir Issue cannot be changed” shall always be remembered in the
history of the humankind.

Jama’at-e-Islami J&K sincerely calls all the intelligentsia class of India people including the rulers to come forward and admit the real nature of the Kashmir Issue and settle it once for all through tripartite dialogue keeping the real aspirations of the people of J&K
in view and as such give the millions of people living in the Indo-Pak subcontinent a chance to achieve real peace and development, Zahid Ali, said in a statement .
