President Zardari arrives in China

Beijing: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari arrives in Beijing today, on four days’ official visit and it is the first official visit of President Zardari after assuming the office of the president.

During this visit Pakistani President will hold talks with the Chinese President Hu Jintao and other top officials.

Pakistan ambassador to China, Masood Khan told the media that China had been one of the main contributors in the economic uplift of Pakistan and in the recent past years, China has invested in all sectors of Pakistan including construction of Gawadar port, heavy engineering complex, telecommunication and mining.

Experts say that after the US-India civil nuclear deal, Pakistan is also seeking a similar deal with China, so it is considered a vital issue to come in the bilateral talks, during this visit.
