Suicide attack on ANP Chief in Wali Bagh kills 6

Peshawar: Today a suicide bomber attacked Asfand Yar Wali Khan’s house in Wali Bagh Charsadda.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at the residence of Asfand Yar Wali Khan, chief of ANP (Awami National Party) a secular ruling party of N.W.F.P, when he was meeting the people of his area, killed 6 and injured 16 but luckily Asfand Yar Wali Khan remained safe in the attack.

Later on, a helicopter transported Asfand Yar Wali Khan to Islamabad along with his family.

Prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Advisor interior Rehamn Malik and other government officials strongly condemned the attack and termed it as an act of cowardice
