Tsipras: No Macedonians in Greece

There are no Macedonians in Greece - that said Alexis Tsipras, leader of the Greek radical Left Party "SYRIZA",

Tsipras responded this way when asked about the status of the Macedonian and other minorities in Greece. Asked about the attitude of the Greek authorities, the Macedonian, Turkish and Albanian minority in the country Tsipras replied: "Are they any   Macedonians in Greece?".

Having realized that this applies to the people of Skopje (FYROM), he said: "Although our Party is the first party in Greece, working towards a solution to a geographic reference to the name. "

Medias in Skopje write more about Tsipras statement by saying - "what the first man in the left-sector surprised." Others define his speech as "ironic".
