Two cyber cells soon for capital cities

In a bid to tackle rising cyber crime in the state, Jammu and Kashmir Police would soon establish two special cyber cells in twin capital zones in Jammu and Srinagar to curb the menace, Farooq Khan Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Jammu-Kathua Range said while addressing press conference on today.
"In view of cyber crime, the police department has planned to set up two special cyber cells at Jammu and Srinagar cities to tackle and counter any cyber crime related incident, but have plans to established fully equipped cyber crime cell in crime branch '' he added
Replaying to query over any monitoring team established to monitor social networking sides over their misuse by hackers, "yet we have not constituted any team, however we have good, sufficient team of officers who handled cases very promptly whenever come to us, Mr. Khan further added
On question of rising mercury and fog in winter capital increased threats over infiltration attempts across border by militants, "attempts were always made by them to infiltrate but, due to proper coordination between various security agencies, police, VDC and local peoples support foiled their all attempts since more then two years, he said however, there is no specific threat received, he further mention to reporters
However, he refused to comment on militant arrested recently by counter intelligence teams in Jammu railway station along with other associates and women of Pakistan, he said "interrogation is on and it's to early to comment on this" Khan said
Took serious concerned over increasing Bovine and narcotic smuggling across Jammu and Kashmir, "our police teams have done great job by arresting several smugglers from in-outside the state in Punjab and many other in Kathua and Rajouri" he said however, many of them were arrested under PSA for bovine smuggling.
