Arthur aims to curb Johnson threat

"It will be interesting to see how Johnson goes against two left-handers at the top of the order," South Africa coach Mickey Arthur said. "It might force him to change his tactics.

"He's pulled the rug out from under our feet a couple of times and we haven't been able to make a proper first-innings score and that has put us under pressure.

"They (Khan and Prince) are both quality players. Imraan has had a phenomenal season and Ashwell knows exactly what we strive for, he's very excited to be back."

He added: "I've got to discuss it with Proccie (selection convenor Mike Procter) first, but in all likelihood Albie will start.

"It strengthens our tail, gives us a bit more batting depth. But we also have to get 20 wickets so we need to get the balance of our attack right as well.

"Albie does swing the ball and he's been knocking at the door for some time."
