Bonnie-Jill Laflin Turns Heads As Model Basketball Scout
Like most basketball scouts, 32-year-old Bonnie-Jill Laflin may be a bit distracting to players on the court. The mere site of Bonnie-Jill Laflin may have players feeling self-conscious under her watchful gaze.
But it's not because she's scouting.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin is a stunning, drop-dead gorgeous basketball scout for the Lakers who admits she 'has no basketball cred' and got the job because her dad was once a bodyguard for Lakers owner Jerrry Buss.
So why is this former model, cheerleader and beauty queen scouting for the major leagues and assistant managing the Lakers' minor league team the D-Fenders?
It may be love of the game, as she insists, or it may be part of her career trajectory. Already her official website asserts that that she is the 'first and only female NBA scout'.
"Not so," says the Boston Globe, citing Jenny Boucek for the Supersonics and Ann Myers Drysdale as prior female scouts.
It is also revealed that Bonnie-Jill Laflin, shown in various forms of undress on her website, is about to launch a reality tv show on her life.
So don't expect any major revelations from Bonnie-Jill Laflin just yet, at least not on the court. On screen? That's another matter.
