England in a comfortable position on the second day of the test match

England batsman kevin peterson made a brilliant hundred after they made a comfortable score in the first innings.England started well agsainst southafrica and made a good first innings score of 586.Bell was unfortunately out for 199 runs one run short of  double cenury.South africa bowlers toiled hard in the field after every bowler have to do the hard work.Earlier england batsmen started well with cook scoring 60 runs and strauss also gave a good start.South africa started their batting when rain interrupted the match
