Fleming backs MSD to get even better

"He is a brilliant player. People talk only about his ability to lead. But he is a versatile player as well and leads by example...Technically, he goes with his instinct," said Former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming.

"Off the field, he is humble and has taken success in his stride. Dhoni is a very impressive guy who would get only better with experience," he said.

"I think they are pretty close, along with Australia and South Africa. The players are not just good but great and they have a great captain, good seamers, genuine all-rounders," Fleming said.

"I'm really disappointed. The charm of playing overseas was to adapt to different conditions. When coming to India, we knew pitches would assist spin, in Australia pitches would have bounce and in New Zealand there used to be both seam and bounce.

"I'm really disappointed because there is nothing wrong if the bowlers dominate a series. In fact, it's good for the game because you cannot have big scores all the time," he added.
