Football Players Matt Jones and Jared Hicks Arrested for Cocaine Possesion

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones was arrested Thursday morning when he was found in possesion of cocaine. Also in the vehicle where Matt Jones was apprehended was former Arkansas tight end Jared Hicks.

The two men, along with another passenger, were approached by police officers in Fayetteville, AK at around 12:40 a.m. early Thursday morning. Reports say that at least one officer drew his handgun during the ordeal. They found a bag of white substance, later identified as cocaine, and a jar with marijuana residue.

Matt Jones will be arraigned on Friday for a felony charge of drug possesion. The Jacksonville Jaguars have not yet made a public statement about the situation.
