"I will never bat as an opener"

"I am ready to bat any position for the team but it is not a good strategy on part of the team management to keep on changing the batting order of players in every match. They are unable to focus and produce runs," Shoaib Malik said.

"One of the reasons why players can't score consistently is they don't know about their position for the next match.

"Personally, I am not comfortable playing as an opener or number three batsman. Constantly changing the batting order affects the focus and concentration of the batsmen," he said.

"Our batsmen didn't get enough runs although I thought 233 was a defendable target but we dropped catches at crucial times and our bowling was sloppy," he said.
