Inam Khan breaks Asian record in Tong-IL Moo Do championship

Srinagar, April 12 (Scoop News) –A two day First Table Tong-IL Moo Do Championship 2012 organized by Tong-IL Moo-Do Association concluded at Indoor Stadium, Srinagar here today. 

In the State level Championship, many players participated including Mohammad Inam Khan, Adnan Ayoob, Kareeha Javeed and Asiya Hardoo. The championship was won by Mohammad Inam Khan, who broke the Asian record set by Deepak Arora of Uttar Pradesh. Later, prizes were distributed among the participants. The Srinagar district secured first, Bandipora second, Budgam third and Kupwara fourth position in the championship.

Additional Commissioner, Kashmir, Abdul Majeed Mir, IAS was Chief Guest on the occasion while  Member Legislative Assembly, Gurez, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi was Special Guest of Honour. Dy. Inspector General of Police, Armed Police,Namgyal, Superintendent of Police Traffic Haseen ur Rehman, OSD with div Com Aamir Ali, President, Tong-IL Moo Do GN Wani and many spectators were present on the occasion.
