Is the Nike 'Write The Future'' World Cup Ad The Best Commercial of All Time?

As the World Cup approaches and global hysteria grows, Nike has released a new advertisement title 'Write The Future.' 

In a bold statement, Nike VP-Brand and Category Management Trevor Edwards proclaimed the commercial is "among the best we've ever done."

The creative, which runs 3 minutes, 4 seconds in its full-length version, features soccer (or football, depending on your provenance) stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Landon Donovan and Ronaldinho dreaming out alternate realities made much more real by the presence of pop culture icons like Kobe Bryant, Gael Garcia Bernal, Roger Federer and Homer Simpson.

Smartly, Nike never mentions the actual World Cup games -- as it is not an official sponsor.

Watching the ad in full-screen mode is highly recommended.
