SUNDAY QUICK HITS
PITTSBURGH PIRATES @ PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
When I did my report yesterday I noted that Raul Ibanez was the only player to not have a hit in the sixteen hit parade and 7-4 win over Pittsburgh. Well he was not happy apparently, so today he carried the Phillies to the sweep in a 6-5 win.

Raul homered twice and had the walk-off hit for the win, scoring Hunter Pence from second in the tenth inning. Pence was on second after delivering a one out double. Raul had a solo homer in the second and a two run shot to tie the game in the eighth.
The Phillies combined for six runs on eleven hits, Ibanez was three for five with four RBI and Jimmy Rollins went two for four with two RBI. Six of their hits were for extra bases, two home runs and four doubles.
Vance Worley started for Philadelphia, he went six innings allowing four runs on seven hits walking none with seven K's. Antonio Bastardo pitched a perfect tenth with one strike out and gets the win. His record is a perfect 4-0.
Jeff Karstens started for the Pirates, he gave up three runs on seven hits in seven innings of work. Tony Watson (0-2) gets the loss allowing the winning run in the bottom of the tenth.
The Phillies get the sweep and end a ten game home stand with a record of 7-3. This was Philadelphia's fifth series sweep this season. They are a season high 29 games over .500 with a record of 68-39. Pittsburgh is now two games over .500 at 54-52.
