Olympics 2008 - Bad Visibilty in Beijing



Just prior to (8th of Aug 08) launch of Beijing Olympics, “Bad quality of air and visibility might consequence into annulment of few Games, scheduled to take place later next month” said International Olympic President Jacques Roge. Several air polluting factories in and around Beijing has been shut during the big event. Vehicles polluting the air have also been kept under strict supervision.


 


A Japanese Dirt Mask manufacturing company has gifted more than 500 masks to Japanese sports personals participating in Beijing Olympic. These masks weigh around 10 grams and can stop dust particles up to 99 %.
