RRL High School organises Investiture Ceremony
JAMMU, 5 May, 2012: To inculcate the sense of responsibility among the students towards school and society, Regional Research Laboratory (RRL) High School, on Tuesday organised Investiture Ceremony for the current academic session 2012-13 with enthusiasm and great fanfare.
The teaching staff and all the students of junior as well as senior wing were present during the ceremony.
In all, 32 students were appointed to various positions of responsibility. They included eight house prefects for each of four houses from classes 1 to X and one house captain and one vice house captain for each of the four houses.
Shreya Sharma of Class X and Aniket of Class XI were appointed as School Captain and Vice Captain for the current academic year respectively.
The House Captain and Vice Captain respectively appointed were Tania and Radhu for Marigold House, Ruhi and Roopam for Rose House, Sant Kour and Ankit Hansa for Lotus and Vanshika and Ankita Gupta for Pansy House.
Principal of the School, Rita Bakshi administered the oath to all the new appointments.
She congratulated the students for being appointed to the positions of authority and urged them to perform their duties with commitment, honesty and work hard to excel in life. Earlier the ceremony began with paying obeisance to Almighty which was followed by Sashaying the student council dected to the four houses – Pansy House, Lotus House, Marigold House and Hose house.
With this all the adjudged students took oath and pledge to keep upto the expectations that school wanted of and to put every moment of duty into the best of their efforts to achieve the success. Senior Teacher, Upasana Sharma presented the vote of thanks.
