Sania and Bhupati in Finals

Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi cruised their way into the Australian Open 2009 mixed doubles final after an easy 6-4 6-1 win over the Czech Republic’s Iveta Benesova and Lukas Dlouhy on Friday. The Indian pair were down 0-3 in the first set but came back strongly to win comfortably. Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi has a great day as their team work and co-ordination was fantastic.

In the final clash, they will take on the unseeded French-Israeli combine of Nathalie Dechy and Andy Ram, who stunned seventh seeded Spaniards Anabel Medina Garrigues and Tommy Robredo 7-6 (9/7) 6-4.
