Verdasco beats Tsonga; Enters Semis

It was the day of Verdasco who played and defeated Tsonga today by 7-6(2) 3-6 6-3 6-2. It  was looking like Tsonga was getting more and more powerful since he reached quarters but the journey cam to an end. It was a powerful attacking playing style by the 14th seeded player to defeat a 5th seeded player. If Nadal wins the match of the quarter final then Verdasco has a big challenge in front of him next.

"I think that that Davis Cup final made me much stronger mentally," Verdasco said. "I was believing in myself because I feel so good. That's help me so much: to go to the court and try to really win the match because sometimes you go to the court when you don't have this big confidence. That's so important: to believe in yourself."
