"We wanted to win at least one game"

"Being down 4-0 in the series, we were determined to win at least one game. All the guys stepped up and we managed to win the last match," said Kumar Sangakkara.

Sangakkara said, "In the hindsight, I would say it was our batting that let us down. We had a good chance of winning the first two games but we didn't bat well enough, while in the next two games, India surely took an upper hand as they batted too well."

As Sangakkara said, "It is up to all the individuals to think. We could have individually contributed a lot more and that would have solved a lot of things."
