Yusuf: NZ tour a good experience

"I could have performed better but I am not disappointed. I have learnt some lessons which will be helpful to me in future also," said India's Yusuf Pathan.

"Overall, it was a good experience. I have played on pitches and conditions alien to me. I am satisfied with my performance although could have performed better," said the all rounder.

"After the loss in T20 series it was really nice to win ODI series. We worked a lot for that win which came after many years on Kiwi soil. It's a big achievment and a result of good team effort," he said.

"We are T20 World Champions and it was sad to lose that way. Everyone was shocked and realised his mistake. We made a point not to repeat them in ODI series. All the players worked really hard and we came back strongly in ODI series," he said.

"Sehwag was at his best. It was enjoyable to see him playing his natural game. Not only him but everyone tried to give his best in that series."

"Whenever I come for bat I only think about the ball not the bowler. I do not get afraid of any big name. If I do, I won't be able to play," he said.

"I have played good so far and I thank god for that. But naturally every cricketer dreams to play Test and I am not the exception. I am waiting for the right time and I will show my ability to play in five-day game. I am evolving as a cricketer and it will take some time to be there," said the Varodara player.
