Bangladeshi in USA & Canada now get the Dual citizenship facilities in Bangladesh

Chief Advisor (CA) of Bangladesh Dr. Fokhruddin Ahmed said: "The people of Bangladesh who lived in USA & Canada now can get the Dual Citizenship in Bangladesh."

He said this yesterday, 25 Sep 2008, in a meeting with the US community of Banglades at Quoins Fair Marina Hall. The meeting was initiated by the Bangladesh Ambassador to the US, M Humayun Kabir.

CA is now in the US to join the UN General Assembly (UNGA).

He also answered various questions there.

Meanwhile, the Chief Advisor joined the UNGA on 25 Sep 2008 to listen to the address of US President George W Bush.

Foreing Adviser Iftekher Ahmed Chowdhury, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh at the UN Ismat Zahan and Ambassador Humayun Kabir also took part.
