Greenback Couple Killed in Motorcycle Wreck

LENOIR CITY - A Greenback husband and wife were killed over the fourth of July weekend in a motorcycle crash in Loudon County, according to authorities.

Robert L. Blake, 67, and Geraldine R. Blake, 65, were travelling southbound on U.S. Highway 321 on July 4 when their motorcycle collided with a northbound vehicle turning onto City Park Drive, Lenoir City Police Chief Don W. White said in a written statement today.

No charges have been filed, but investigators are still investagating the crash site, he said.

Both motorcycle riders were killed in the crash,and the driver of the northbound vehicle survived the crash with little to no injuries.
