Hub Station Bike Rental Shop Reopens in West Village

The Hub Station, a beloved community bicycle rental, repair and sales shop, has found a temporary home in the far West Village on Charles Street, near the corner of Washington Street.

Hub Station went out of business in October 2008, when Racked blamed NYU and Robert Deniro for forcing real estate prices up and demand down.

The new location is only open on weekends, catering to the bike-loving crowd that frequents nearby Hudson River Park.
