John Buonomo, Register of Probate, Arrested for Burglary and Theft

John Buonomo, the Middlesex register of probate, was arrested yesterday for stealing thousands of dollars from copy and change machines.  

After employees noticed money shortages from copy machines, police planted hidden cameras in the Registry of Deeds. In the last 2 months, John Buonomo was caught stealing from machines 18 times and allegedly pocketed cash for himself at least 8 times.  

John Buonomo is expected in court on burglary, theft, and larceny charges and faces a maximum penalties of 20, 10, and 2 years on the charges.
