GroundReport's Jordan Lofgren captured the scene at last week's "Shoot Out for Freedom" rally in New York City. Artists gathered in Union Square to protest proposed restrictions on filming and photographing that they asserted would stifle creativity and give authorities a carte blanche to harrass citizens and tourists alike. Since the event on August 1st, City Hall has withdrawn the proposal in response to the overwhelming criticism.
