WHO: Public Printer Bill Boarman will address hundreds of librarians from around the country at the Fall Depository Library Council Meeting and Federal Depository Library Conference. Federal Depository Libraries work in partnership with the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) to provide Americans access to authentic, published Government information in digital and print form
WHAT: Boarman will discuss how he is steering GPO through funding cutbacks while still providing essential services to the U.S. Congress, Federal agencies, libraries and the public. Boarman will also talk about how, during these challenging times, depository libraries continue to play a critical role in providing Americans with equal access to information on the workings of their Government.
