Pam Babcock Stuck to Toilet, Boyfriend Kory McFarren Sentenced

The story of Pam Babcock and her peculiar situation became public in February: she had sat on the toilet for so long that she had literally grown into the porcelain bowl. She didn't leave the bathroom for two years, until her boyfriend, Kory McFarren, had medical personal physically remove her, taking the toilet and all. 

In March, Kory McFarren was charged with a misdemeanor count of mistreatment of a dependent adult for not acting more quickly to help Pam Babcock. He and Babcock both claim that Babcock's condition wasn't his fault because the woman wanted to remain in the bathroom and refused to come out. He was sentenced yesterday and received six months probation, a sentence that Pam Babcock's pleas for leniency helped lower. 

Pam Babcock is now toilet-free and living under the protection of a guardian who will hopefully not let her antics get her in trouble once again. But is Kory McFarren to blame for Babcock's becoming stuck to a toilet? After all, he was just doing what his girlfriend wanted, and we all know that is usually a good idea.
