Roy Den Hollander, Anti-Feminism Law Suit

Lawyer Roy Den Hollander has waged an all out war against feminism, claiming the movement seeks to put women ahead of men and stereotypes men as violent evil-doers.

Roy Den Hollander has filed a lawsuit against Columbia University's Institute for Research on Women and Gender, accusing the department of being discriminatory in not offering a "men's studies" equivalent. He is also suing some New York nightclubs for offering free entrance to women on "ladies' nights."

"[Feminism] is motivated by prejudice toward men that leads to sex-based stereotyping of males," Hollander says. "Females, on the other hand are credited with inherent goodness who were oppressed and colonized by men."

Roy Den Hollander also takes issue with the fact that women are not forced to register for the draft and that immigrant women can stay in the United States after divorcing their husbands by alleging abuse.

In response to Hollander's insistence on a "Men's Studies" program at Columbia, Kim Gandy, president of the National Organization for Women, said, “they have a men’s studies department: It’s called ’history,’ ’politics,’ ’business.’ It’s the entire university. It’s all about men’s studies."
