Save Our Soldiers!
The main purpose of the nonprofit organization Save Our Soldiers is to provide the necessary support for the men and women that are serving the country in the Armed Forces and for their families at home, that are waiting for them, counting the seconds, one after another.
For them, minor things, such as writing to deployed personnel, offering moral support, sending them holiday gifts, in order to encourage them, helping those recovering from injuries and counseling their families, reprent a true blessing and a light for their eyes filled with tears.
Save Our Soldiers is non-political and non-profit making, having a target the issue of healthcare and the well-being of soldiers who are serving the country in Iraq and Afghanistan, helping them throw the donations of the ones that make a positive contribution to this most worthy of causes. The donations are sent to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust, providing programs and initiatives for the soldiers and their families.
Being a volunteer for Save Our Soldiers nonprofit organization doesn't necessarily mean to offer money, it's about holding the door open for someone that is able to do donate, spreading the word and encourage others to help provide the best protection America has to offer for its troops.
Moral support is the most important, it is essential for those who renounce to their homes, to their personal life, to their rights to be fathers, sons, brothers or friends. Their only goal is to provide a better world, a safer country, promoting the real patriotic values, often omitted by the others. Everybody can help by raising funds ear marked for the support of U.S. soldiers injured in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The organization promotes the collective desire of humanity to support for a swift and sensible end to U.S. military troop involvement in Iraq.
"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."-Margaret Mead
Even the most little ones can contribute by wearing the SOS Bracelet, showing their appreciation for the sacrifice of the soldiers and their families, sharing the SOS projects and ideas to the community, including friends, family, co-workers and involving them, holding special events and selling the SOS Bracelet for injured soldiers' assistance programs and giving as a gift the SOS Bracelet to the ones that are interested to make a difference
