Stolen plane chased F-16

On Monday a stolen light plane from Thunder Bay airport was chased by F-16 fighter jets. Nearly 8 hours fly the pilot landed on a rural road in southeast Missouri and escape.

An airport in Canada reports Adam Leon, stole the light plane around 2.30 pm local time and he refused to communicate with authorities throughout the flight. Due to this incident the state Capitol building in Wisconsin was forced the close and jets flew over that section of the state.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command fighter jets F16 intercepted the plane at the Michigan-Wisconsin border and the chase continued over Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois before the Cessna finally landed.
