New Delhi- J&K: Kundan Kashmiri National President Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while addressing his activists and supporters at different places stated that leaders running the polity of state and centre have totally failed to identify them selves with KP Community which resulted great distance and divide between the politicians in helm of affairs and Kashmiri Pandit Community. He said alienation of Kashmiri Pandits is increasing with every passing day and government at state and centre are deliberately keeping themselves away and unaware from the real problems of the KP community.
Lamenting over the biased attitude of state and centre govt. for keeping their deaf ears towards burning day to day problems of displaced KP’s who are in exile from the last twenty two years, Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief stated that denial of basic amenities like water and electricity to displace KP’s languished in Jagti township and at other places is complete human right violation and inhuman attitude of authority concerned. While strongly supporting the demand of cash enhancement for displaced Kashmiri, Kundan Kashmiri stated that worst victim of militancy are those relief holders who are unheard and unattended since last two months of their strike cum dharna at Jammu for cash enhancement of their relief to feed their children and treat their ailing parents and elders. He cautioned the govt. if problems of KP migrants which include water, electricity in Jagti Township, enhancement of cash relief and passage of shrine bill has been further delayed, KP’s would be forced to take streets to agitate at Jammu, Delhi and other places for which govt. will be responsible.
Kundan Kashmiri also criticized Engineer Abdul Rasid, MLA for his comments that KP’s left the valley at their own, bailing out the people and factors responsible for the mass exodus of KP’s and also criticized him (MLA) for opposing Kuldeep Khoda former DGP J&K for appointing him as chief vigilance commissioner (CVC) of the J&K state. Kundan Kashmiri stated that Engineer Abdul Rashid MLA is habitual of instigating the people and raising of pity issues for his self interest and also baised towards KP Community. KPC Chief suggested him to become positive and realistic.
KPC Chief while further commenting over J&K Interlocutors reports re-iterated that review and re-appeal of central laws and continuing of article 370 in the state of J&K is neither in favour of state nor Indian nation on the whole.
