‘Interlocutors report meaningless without recommendations for KPs’

New Delhi/ Jammu and Kashmir: Reacting over a report submitted by interlocutors to P. Chidambaram, recommending regional councils and other various concessions to the J&K state, Kundan Kashmiri, Social Activist and National President KPC while addressing his activists at New Delhi today stated that entire report of interlocutors will be meaningless if aspiration and main demands of KP community were not properly projected and recommended in the report for acceptance of the central government. He said that separate portion of land for purposeful rehabilitation of KP’s at the land of Kashyap in Kashmir valley with over all empowerment and complete writ of Indian constitution, besides passage of KP’s shrine and temple bill as well as solution of overall problems faced by KP youths in the state were put before these interlocutors during our meetings with them for recommendation to Centre Govt.  KPC Chief further stated that they will support only that proposal which strengthen the relation of J&K state with India, and rejects the autonomy, self rule and Azadi proposals which fanned separatism in the state. He said that any recommendation which unsettles the settled issue of Kashmir will have serious repercussion and would prove counterproductive for the country.  He told the central political leaders, running the polity of nation, to clarify their stand whether they are serious about 1994 parliament resolution mandating the return of POK and Northern areas to India, for which 22 seats are reserved in the Assembly of J&K state or have accepted Kashmir as disputed issue after succumbing under the pressure of Pakistan, separatists and Pseudo secularists.

Kundan Kashmiri stated that Kashmiri Pandit Community will fully resist and would launch nation wise strike If any effort is made to abolish the writ of Indian constitution over the state of J&K and withdrawn the forty seven odd presidential orders that brought the state closer to India since 1956. He also demanded that entire repost to be brought before the people of J&K state at the earliest.Commenting over serious efforts of state Chief minister Omar Abdullah for withdrawing the AFSPA and disturbed area act from certain part of the state, Kundan Kashmiri rejected this hasty move of the Govt. in view of increased in-filtration and presence of 47 training camps in POK (Pakistan), where hundreds of trained militants are awaiting for crossing the border to bleed India and disturb peace in Kashmir.  Kundan Kashmiri also disclosed that KPC would organized door to door campaign and corner meetings in Delhi and other parts of the country against the autonomy move of Govt. and would also garner more support in favour of passage of shrine and temple bill and for other demands for which KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri along with his one dozen of activists were on hunger strike at Jammu with AMCC president at press club Jammu recently. He cautioned the KP Community to be vigilant from those elements and handpicked yes-men who would not desist to support Govt. over such move harming the interests
