A Tale of Two Presidents: Bush versus Karzai
by Richard Cooper
October 25, 2007
When you compare American president George W. Bush with Afghan president Hamid Karzai, one question arises. Why does Karzai speak English better than Bush? This is a bizarre, amusing and troubling fact.
The bias of conservative and liberal media should be apparent to anyone not on the respective teams or is free of the blinders of "teamism."
If a prominent Democrat spoke like Bush, the establishment liberal news media would be describing it as "down to earth, folksy, democratic" while the conservative media would be calling it disgraceful, vulgar and disrespectful of the high office etc.
Bush-lovers and Bush-haters have a curious relationship with facts. Welcome to the world of partisanship.
