AJHLA termed Gilani as the enemy of Kashmiri Muslims

October 20, 2012 Jammu, October 20 (Scoop News)- Condemning the secessionist and arch communal Kashmiri leader, Sayeed Alisha Gilani for his threat to launch an agitation against construction of metalled road to Amarnath Shrine, All Jammu Hotel Lodges Association (AJHLA) has termed him as the enemy of Kashmiri Muslims as well as the people of Jammu at large and Hindus in the state.
In a statement AJHLA hailed the Kashmiri Muslims for extending warmest hospitality to the Amarnath pilgrims every year, Jammu hoteliers association has said that the business community in Kashmir, Particularly those connected with tourism and pilgrimage have equal stake in promotion of Amarnath Yatra, by providing more facilities and better infrastructure for pilgrimage.
A meeting of AJHLA held here today under the Chairmanship of its President Inderjeet Khajuria has warned the people of Kashmir against the machinations of Ali Shah Gilani, the enemy of peace and normalcy in Kashmir who thrives in bloodshed and chaos and has appealed to them to not fall prey to the mischievous designs of the trouble mongers, who are out to divide the people on communal and regional lines by raising falls alarms. AJHLA has observed that with larger the number of pilgrims performing Amarnath Yatra, all the regions of the state get economic boon as well as it fasters communal harmony. Thousands of Muslim Labourers, ponywalas and even vendors of food stuffs and other business houses is earn some bucks from the pilgrims. Gilani wants to deprive them of these benefits.

Inderjeet Khajuria has reminded that the Nitish Sen Committee as well as Mukherjee Committee had also recommended creating of more infrastructures for the pilgrims, to spare causalities. On the same lines the experts Committee set up by the government on the directions of Supreme Court has recommended providing of more facilities including lying of metalled road up to the shrine. Hence the govt and SASB have to take these steps.
The association has also demanded longer period of Yatra and preserving of snow lingam of Bhagwan Shiva for a longer period, taking the help of DRDO. The snow lingam of Shiva is the main motivating force for the pilgrims.
