BJP demandes CBI inquiry in KAS Main examinations



 


Jammu, October 07 (Scoop News) -Alleging the autonomous Public Service Commission has become Govt department and working under political interference, former BJP state president and member national executive Dr Nirmal Singh demanded CBI inquiry on alleging favouritism and biased results of KAS Main examinations.


He however demanded that white paper to be published to list the working of PSC since 1975 and two separate Public Service Commission to end disparity with Jammu region in selection process.


Talking to media persons here today, Dr Nirmal Singh while smelling foul alleged sheer discrimination against students of Jammu region to deliberately failed them according to pre-planned hidden healing touch policy of promoting Kashmiri bureaucratic hegemony.


"It’s unfortunate that J&K public Service Commission working and acting as a Govt department under utter political interference as recent list of KAS (Main), KCS examination speaks in volBume", the BJP leader alleged.


Giving details, he mentioned that 5000 candidates from Jammu and 3500 from Kashmir appeared in KAS main examination out of which 1260 candidates declared passed which included 76% candidates from Kashmir mostly having Urdu subject. ‘Even PSC crosses all the limits and violated the guidelines of UPSC by giving reasonable choice in Urdu paper’, he alleged, adding, ‘In Urdu paper, there was 13 questions and candidates had to attempt only 6 while in Anthropology paper its 5 out of 6 questions which is sheer violation of UPSC guidelines to give benefit to particular section’.


Dr Singh further mentioned, "Poor state of affairs also revealed from the fact that in Geography paper, last question was ‘Examine the need of reservation to Muslims to end regional disparity which is totally unjustified and deliberate". Dr Nirmal Singh also He however alleged violation of category reservation rule and said that list of successful candidates which came out was signed by Secretary of the commission not the Controller of Examination because he may doesn’t want to be the part of this favoritism.


"In the list as names and parentage of the candidates were not disclosed. This year the commission had only published roll numbers of the selected candidates," he maintained, alleging, "BJP believed that this totally bias and just to establish Kashmir bureaucracy hegemony in Jammu and Kashmir".


He informed that BJP to submit written complaint to Governor N N Vohra to seek his immediate attention into the matter.
