She was quite fourth right while advocating that women should be given quality education instead of making them aware about the evil of dowry and female feoticide. The recent decrease in the sex ratio projected in the 2011 census report she blamed women about their ignorance and about the female feoticide which has become a curse in the society and this curse should be fought against. Therefore the women should shed off bias against the female birth and discourage and the practice of female feoticide. For this she stressed on quality education of women so that they can understand what is right and wrong and be empowered to take effective decisions regarding their lives themselves.

On the issue of corruption she highlighted government’s involvement in 2G spectrum issue, cases of Adarsh Colony where several VVIPs are involved and the Common Wealth Games scam which very clearly indicated involvement of some members of the organizers against whom enquiry is going on. She further disclosed that black money of about five lakh thousand crores are still lying in the foreign banks but the government is providing the cover up. If this money is brought back the poverty of the country can be eliminated forever. Ironically in a country where the poor are dying of hunger. Millions of tonnes of food grains is getting spoiled in godowns and this can happen only in a country where 50% of the population earn 20 rupees every day and cannot manage even 2-time meal. Commenting on the price-rise Smriti said that there was a time when people would buy bag full of items with handful of money but now reverse is happening when with bag full of money hand full of items can be purchased.
The rally was marked by joining of over sixty women drawn from different areas of Sunderbani. They were garlanded and welcomed into the morcha by Smriti Irani and other state leaders.
