Bomb Blast in Colmbo Sri Lanka

There was a bomb blast in the capital city of  Colombo around 12 noon today.  So far 8 persons are certified dead and about 90 are being treated at the Colombo National Hospital.

It is assumed to be a suicide bomber loaded with explosives who came on a motorcycle and jammed on to some policemen, killing 6 policemen and 2 civilians. This explosion occured in the Fort area very close to the plush Hilton hotel. The roads have been cordened off and the Police are investigating.
