Commission of Inquiry directs IIT to identify areas which require close scrutiny

Shopian J&K),June 06 – The Commission of Inquiry, headed by Justice (retd) Muzaffar Jan, camping at Shopian, today gave on-the-spot directions to the independent investigating team (IIT), accompanying the Commission, to identify the areas which require close and careful scrutiny for ascertaining facts under reference to the Commission.

The next date for receiving affidavits and statements of fact fixed on June 8 will be extended to enable the persons desiring to file detailed depositions/statements of fact on June 9.

The Commission will be camping at Shopian till conclusion of the enquiry.
